Robert A. Pinel

As the managing attorney at the Law Offices of Robert A. Pinel. LLC, Rob Pinel provides legal advice to businesses and individuals. He generally works on legal consultation and litigation, with a focus on lawsuit avoidance and trying to resolve matters before they become a lawsuit. He has a diverse background and his areas of practice include creditor’s rights, employment law, as well financial institution and real estate litigation. He handles cases in a lot of other areas as well, including land use/zoning, restrictive covenants, municipal disputes and general commercial litigation. In the right circumstances, he even returns to his passion – criminal law. His clients are just as diverse and he represents national and international corporations, local businesses, and individuals.


Rob grew up in Colorado and North Carolina. His grandfather insisted that he work tobacco fields during his youth to learn about hard work. He graduated high school in Denver in 1980. He received a B.A. from Columbia University in 1984 and after graduation he worked for a Member of Parliament in London, England before going to law school in Georgia and graduating from the University of Georgia cum laude in 1989. After clerking for a Georgia state court judge, he began his litigation practice. During law school and his years of practice in Georgia, he also managed a working farm.

Rob is admitted to practice in numerous state and federal courts, including Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, as well as the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal and the United State Supreme Court. He can also go to court in Georgia and Vermont.

Rob and his family have lived in the Lehigh Valley for over 10 years. He belongs to numerous organizations in the Lehigh Valley, including the bar associations Kiwanis. He coached youth soccer for the Nazareth Soccer club and is now its attorney. He is a former member of the Board for the Nazareth Area School District, and is on the race committee for the Tortoise and the Hare race held annually in Wind Gap on Memorial Day. Proceeds from the race benefit Project Child, which helps in child abuse prevention.
